Dempsey L. Simmons Sr. 
Services: Sat., Nov. 5, 11:00 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., 
for Dempsey L. Simmons, Sr., 85, who passed away November 3, 2005. Chaplain 
Gary Bashor will officiate. Dempsey worked for Griffith Construction Co., from 
1946 to 1974, then spent 31 years of retirement enjoying gardening and fishing 
with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, 
Dorothy Simmons; sons, Dempsey Simmons, Jr., Garry Simmons and Dennis Simmons; 
stepson, Don Doser; daughters, Karen Goldstein and Barbara Ford; 
stepdaughters, Mildred Eastman and Ann Smith; several grandchildren, nephews 
and nieces. He will be missed by all. Visitation will be this morning 9:00-
10:30 a.m.
