Lauren was born August 1, 1994 to Kevin and Tuesdy Small in Bakersfield, Ca. 
and went to be with the Lord in heaven on December 1, 2005. From the day she 
was born her beauty has brought joy to all around her. Lauren loved her 
family, friends, pets and the many activities she was involved in. Her many 
hobbies and loves included music, traveling, shopping, tennis, swimming, 
wakeboarding, snow skiing, and mashed potatoes. Lauren was an accomplished 
Western and English rider recently winning awards for Rookie of the Year, 
Champion Walk/Jog 12 and under, and placed in top ten overall in the 
Bakersfield Open Horse Show for 2005. She was currently in her sixth grade 
year at Norris Middle School and had attended Olive Drive Elementary. Lauren 
has left many hearts empty including, her loving parents Kevin and Tuesdy 
Small, Brother Kyle Small, Grandparents Ken and Susie Small, Skinner and Joan 
Hardy, Ron and Laveda Wren, John Ulrich Sr., and Jess and Sandy Smith; Great 
Grandmother Nudie Shields; Aunts and Uncles, Aimee Small, Jason Small, Jim and 
Teresa Maricich, John Ulrich Jr. and Ron and Terri Radney; Great Uncles and 
Aunt, Richard Shields, David and Debbie Farrell and Rick and Jeanne Kingsbury. 
Not to be forgotten are many cousins, relatives, and close friends as well as 
her beloved and cherished horse Nickel Citation Nickie, and other pets Primer, 
Olivia, Fancy, Aly, Cali, and Sam. Pallbearers will be Mike Stier, Steve 
Sewell, Steve Struwe, Vint Varner, Dave Ollivier, Jon OGrady, Bruce Lynn, and 
Jason Small. Honorary pallbearers, David Lynn, Blaine Walker, Grayson 
Ollivier, Dane Varner, Mason Etcheverry, Nick McKee, Shane Ellis, Corbin 
Smith, Chase Small, Reese Maricich and Kenzer Small. Lauren was an angel sent 
from heaven to bring pride and happiness to her family and everyone whom she 
came in contact with. She has touched many lives and will live forever in our 
hearts. We will love you and miss you always our: Angel, Baby, Sis, Miss Moo, 
Plumy, Lo, LuLu, Beanie Girl, and Fizzle. Her courage during her three year 
battle with cancer has been an inspiration to all who knew her. Thank you to 
all of the caring staff of Hoffman Hospice who gave Lauren, her family and 
friends their love and support. You are truly angels on earth. A memorial 
service will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Francis 
Church 900 H Street. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made 
to Small Miracles Foundation 3032 Azalea Glen Rd. Glendale, OR 97442.
