Services will be officiated by Pastor Ross Chambers. ReJeania was born on May 22, 1948 in Porterville, California and then moved to Bakersfield after a short stay in Missouri. ReJeania attended Bakersfield schools and was proud to have successfully completed her training to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. ReJeania worked at Memorial Hospital for over fifteen years before leaving in 1988 to devote herself to her family as a full- time homemaker. ReJeania was a voracious reader particularly enjoying true crime and Stephen King/Dean Koontz novels. She liked blues, rhythm and blues and soul music and loved to dance. After meeting her future husband in 1982 she developed a strong interest in rock collecting and mineralogy and also came to enjoy camping. ReJeania enjoyed helping others and was quick to take the side of the underdog. ReJeania is survived by her father, Thobern B. Wallace of Bakersfield; her husband, Jeffry L. Smith; two sons, Richard Lee Perry and Jeffry Smith Jr. of Bakersfield; a grandson, Jeremy Perry of Bakersfield; a sister, Beverly Flores of Bakersfield; half-sister, Pamela Quisik of Modesto. She also leaves behind two nieces, KimberLee Matthews and Cara Flores of whom she was very proud; a grand-niece, Emmalee Matthews and many friends. No visitation is scheduled.
