Jose Guillermo Soto Jr. 
Dec. 24, 1979 - Jan. 13, 2006 

Jose was born to Jose and Virginia Soto December 24, 1979, in Bakersfield, CA 
and departed from this life on January 13, 2006. He was a graduate from North 
High School. Jose was battling cancer for the past 2 years and through his 
illness he was strong and determined to fight for life. Jose and his 4 year 
old son were very close, hoping to watch his son grow up was not an option. 
Jose loved sports, football season was his favorite, GO 49ers he always said. 
Jose leaves to cherish and celebrate his homegoing, his father, Jose Soto; his 
mother, Virginia Soto; one son, Jordan Z. Soto; four brothers, Josue S. of 
Shafter, CA, Jessie G. of Bakersfield, CA, Freddie and Frank and wife of Mesa, 
AZ; sisters, Frances G. Hurtado, Michelle Irias, both of Bakersfield, CA, 
Genevieve N. of TX, Evelyn V., Florence C., Merlinda S., all of Las Cruces, 
NM; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, whom 
were loved by Jose dearly, and a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services 
are scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at St. Clemente 
Church, 1305 Water Street. Interment will immediately follow in Greenlawn 
Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd. For additional service information please call 631-
2825. Services entrusted to: Beloved Care Funeral Services
