Larry is survived by his wife, Patricia Spaulding; sons, Brandon Spaulding and Jeremy Aultman; daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Chad Towery; granddaughter, Caelin Aubry Towery to be born January 2006; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vickie and Denny Fontana; Julie and Tommy Stephens; nieces and nephews, Angela, Garrett, Kari and Nicole; great-nieces and nephews, Tyler, Kylie, Faye, Linzie, Kessler and Skyler. Larry had many titles during his stay with us, brother, son, husband, father and friend. His newest title surely would have been his favorite, “Grandpa”. Although he can’t be here for the birth of his granddaughter, his deep rooted love and compassion will be carried on in the spirits of those who loved him most. His infectious smile and unmistakable laugh will forever be etched in our memory. He was never short on advice or a kind word. His “I love you’s” were a common occurrence at home. He made friends wherever he went and usually was at the center of everyone's attention. Larry was born in 1957 but his life truly started in 1973 when he met the love of his life, Patricia, his wife of 29 years and mother to his two children. She became the Rock in his life, a support system, a caregiver, and truly his greatest love. Larry and Patricia were to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in January. Larry was lucky enough to go through life with two best pals, Bill Cantrell and Denny Fontana. They have been by his side through triumph and tragedy since they were teenagers. Their love, admiration, and respect for each other was something they talked about often. He was never afraid to show emotion and even some tears when they were together. Their lives were forever scarred by Larry's passing. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Dr. Adam Klang’s office and all at Highgrove Medical for their dedication and care. His passing has brought an overwhelming sadness to those who knew and loved him. Larry will forever be in the hearts of all who shared their lives with him, even the smallest one, who never had a chance to meet him. “We love you Dad” For additional service information or floral delivery information, please contact Basham Funeral Care 873-8200.
