Alta Faye Jobe 
May 28, 1930 - November 20, 2005 

Visitation for Alta Faye Jobe will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles 
Street) on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. with graveside 
services at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Alta was born to Effie 
and Calvin Spencer on May 28, 1930 in Sutherlin, Oregon and she passed away 
November 20, 2005 in Bakersfield, California. She is preceded in death by her 
husband, Walter and her parents. Those she leaves behind to miss her are 
daughter, Angela (Claro) of Bakersfield; son, Walter Jobe (Debbie) of Las 
Vegas, NV; son, Timothy Jobe (Lisa) of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Jessica, 
Erin, Samantha and Jacob Jobe of Span Way, WA; sister, Flora Hughes (Richard) 
of Portland, OR; sister Joyce Brown (Burwin) of Bakersfield and several nieces 
and nephews. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She 
spent her life as a wife and mother and she cared for others. She will be 
sorely missed by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made 
in memory of Alta to the American Diabetes Association. For additional service
