Kerry Rondal Steffan 
Sept. 10, 1966 - Feb. 12, 2006 

Funeral services, under the direction of Arvin Funeral Home, will be held on 
Saturday, February 18, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Assembly of God Church of 
Arvin. Pastor Craig Amos will officiate the service. Interment will be private 
at South Kern Cemetery, Arvin. Kerry Rondal Steffan was born September 10, 
1966, in Bakersfield to Christy Steffan and Jerry Hopkin. He grew up in Arvin 
and attended Arvin elementary schools and Arvin High School with the Class of 
1984. He worked for White Wolf Potato Shed, Sycamore Canyon Golf Course and C 
& J Recycling Co. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing whenever he could. 
He loved music and when he was able played the drums in church. He attended 
the First Assembly of God Church of Arvin. He is survived by his mother, 
Christy Baca and her husband, Mike; grandparents, Bill and Alice McNeill; son, 
Julian Steffan; stepdaughters, Mariah and Cherish and their mother, Vickie; 
stepfather, Carl Walker; brothers, Aaron and Casey Walker; sister, Stephanie 
Freeman; nephews, Justin, Zachery and Cameron Powell; uncle, Randy Acree and 
his wife, Sharon; and cousins, Heather Ortiz, Amber Garza, Bradley and Brandon 
Steffan. He was preceded in death by his uncle, David Steffan, in 1983. 
Visitation will be Friday, February 17th, from 2-8 p.m., at Arvin Funeral 
Home, 600 Tucker St. Arvin Funeral Home
