Felix Menchaca Sepeda (Lalo) 
June 8, 1937 - May 25, 2005 

Visitation will be held for Felix Mechaca Sepeda at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 
3700 River Blvd., Tuesday, May 31, 2005, 11:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m., followed by 
Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., and Chapel services on Wednesday, June 
1, at 10:00 a.m. Father Ricardo Magdaleno will officiate. Interment will 
follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Lalo was born in Del Rio, Texas to Manuela 
and Felix Sepeda. He moved to California in the 1940's and met Petra Lopez, 
they were married for over 40 years. He was a very traditional man who spoke 
his mind, and always enjoyed an occasion to wear his suit. In the later years 
of his life he enjoyed being with his grandchildren, taking care of his lawn, 
wood carving, reading and spending time at the Richard Prado East Bakersfield 
Senior Citizen Center where he would have lunch every day. Lalo is survived by 
his wife, Petra; children Delores, Delia, Veronica, Judas and Orlando; many 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He will be greatly missed by his 
family, friends and all who knew him. Casketbearers will be Gabriel Menchaca, 
Herbie Menchaca, Hector Menchaca, Efrain Menchaca, Carlos Hernandez and Robert 
Corbin.
