George Shaudis 
Services: Tues., May 24, 10:30 a.m. 

Our dear Father and Husband, George Shaudis passed away peacefully on May 21, 
2005. George was born on September 19, 1916 in Springfield, IL. He was a 
Bakersfield resident for the past three years. George was humorous and kind 
man who though handicapped, was known to mow his neighbors lawn in West Hills 
just because he had the lawnmower out to do his own. He was a wonderful card 
player who beat us almost daily. He loved trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin 
where slot machines gave it up for him willingly whenever he was in their 
presence. He was also proud to be an Elk for over 50 years. George adored his 
wife, Helen, of 59 years, his son, Jim and daughter-in-law, Karyn. Crypt side 
services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery on Tuesday, May 24, 
2005, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be 
made to Hoffmann Hospice in Georges honor. They guided us well and deserve 
recognition. Though thou art gone; our hearts will remember.
