Finley Fenton Shepherd 
April 21, 1927 - July 20, 2005 

Finley was born on April 21, 1927 in Iowa, to William and Nellie Shepherd. He 
was last employed as a manager for a farm machinery company for 18 years. He 
was married for over 50 years to his wife Betty who predeceased him 1998, also 
grand-daughter Linda in 1996. He was a loving father and grand-father who will 
be greatly missed. He is survived by daughters, Chris Hankins, Evelyn 
Shepherd, Deborah Powers, and Brenda Candelaria; grandson, Shane Shepherd; 5 
grand-children all of Bakersfield; brothers, John Shepherd of Iowa and Red 
Shepherd of Bakersfield. A special Thank You to California Care Staff. At his 
request, no services will be held.
