A remarkable human being whose name signified only a small amount of what she gave to those who knew her. JOY! She was the heart of her family and will be missed by her children; son, Chris and his wife, Renee Deege; daughter, Samantha and husband, Mark Kane; daughter, Dawn and her husband, Jerry Lee; son, Sean and wife, Cindy Bangert; daughter, Brenda and her husband, Curt Riley, and stepdaughters, Kathy Ringsby, Debbie and her husband, Allen. Her abundance of love and wisdom for life will be dearly missed by her 20 grandchildren; Nicolle and husband, Chris, Marky, Sissi, Adrianna, Kelson; Deborah, Crystal, Dylan, Briony, Bryce, Jacob, Daniel, Steven, Conall, Jennifer, Alyssa, Hunter, Chance, Alyson, and Teresa, and great-grandchild, Javan. She is also survived by her brother, George Silver, and sister, Suzanne Doran, as well as her friend and cousin, Linda Moler. Joy's family and friends have become many through the years and she has left many hearts broken. The community of Kern Valley knew her well for her love of family, friends, and for her giving soul. Her van symbolized her lifes most precious treasures as she proudly displayed GRANDMAS ANGELS with all of her grandchildren across the back window. Services will be held July 16, at 10:00 a.m., at Kern Valley Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Lake Isabella, where Joy was a sister to the congregation. Family and friends will join together following the services. Legacy.com Published in the Bakersfield Californian on 7/10/2005.
