Sharyn Lee Smith
1940 - 2005

Memorial services for Sharyn Lee Smith will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, 
April 12, 2005, at St. Philip The Apostle Church on Stockdale Highway. 

Sharyn Lee Smith was born on December 21, 1940, in Bakersfield to James and 
Erma Mashburn and passed away on April 8, 2005, in Bakersfield.

Sharyn is preceded in death by her father, James Mashburn and her daughter, 
Laurie Ann Smith. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Clair E. Smith; 
mother, Erma Mashburn; daughter, Nancy Stallard and husband, Greg; son, Mark 
Smith; sisters, Linda DeMarais and Carol Karns; grandchildren, Jennifer 
Gibson, Jeremy Smith, Erica Stallard and Garret Stallard; nephews, Michael, 
Deron, Christopher, David and Matthew.

With every person she touched, she left them with a special gift. Whether it 
was her kindness, wisdom or gentle guidance. There never will be a day we do 
not think of her and smile. The love and support she showed us here on earth 
will continue to shine on us from Heaven.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Judes Chidlrens Hospital 
and the American Cancer Society.
