Margery Jeanette Wattenbarger 
1/30/1912 - 6/6/2005 

Born January 30, 1912. Died peacefully on June 6, 2005. A native of 
Bakersfield, born Margery Jeanette Smith, Margery grew up and raised her 
family in Bakersfield. She recently moved to Santa Rosa to be close to her 
children. Margery worked for many years at Pioneer Mercantile Company, and 
later as a bookkeeper for J.C. Wattenbarger & Sons Lumber and Building 
Materials. She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, James D. (Jim) 
Allen, and her husband of 26 years, Lloyd N. Wattenbarger. Margery is survived 
by her daughter, Joyce Allen and partner, Jim Cornett of Healdsburg, CA and 
grandson, James Murphy of San Francisco, CA; son, James Allen and wife, Mary 
Ann of Sebastopol, CA and granddaughter, Lydia Allen of Sebastopol, CA; 
stepsons, Jeffrey C. Wattenbarger (Mary) and Douglas M. Wattenbarger (Ellen); 
stepgrandson, Judd Wattenbarger; stepgrand-daughter, Abbey Wattenbarger and 
numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later time. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Margerys name to a 
favorite charity.
