Belle Terrace, Rev. Joe Washington officiating. Sandra was a fun loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sandra Lynette Turner, the eldest daughter born to John and Hazel Turner, June 1, 1958, in Bakersfield, California. The family moved to Oakland, CA, in 1965. Received Christ at an early age. Attended Elementary, Junior High and High School in the Oakland School District, and later attended Laney College. After school she moved back to Bakersfield, CA, where she worked several jobs as a data entry clerk. Later she was blessed with a son, Kevin Charles Moffett. On February 28, 1992, Sandra was united in holy matrimony to Tony Edward Allen, better known as Quarterback. Later they moved to Kent, Washington. Due to the job transfer of Tony they moved to Portland, Oregon. There Sandra was employed by EBCC Drug Rehabilitation Center until her health began to fail. Sandra was a very loving and caring person. She made everyone around her feel very special. A very free hearted individual, Sandra was always full of life, even in her pain and suffering. We will miss this very special lady very much. For God knows she fought a good fight. Sandra Allen is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Turner; grandparents, Frank and Lena Watts. She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Tony Edward Allen, Portland, OR; one son, Kevin Charles Moffett, Portland, OR; two daughters, Amber Allen and Courtney Ross, Bakersfield, CA; two grandchildren, Heaven and Sanai Moffett, Portland, OR; parents, Rev. John Turner (Yvonne Turner); three sisters, Cherlyn, Roselyn Turner, Janell Turner all of Bakersfield, CA; one brother, Jarvis Turner, Los Angeles, CA; special mother-in-law and father-in-law, Magnolia and Harry Allen; two sisters-in-law, Vickie Allen (Ricky Horne), Desiree Warren (Mark Warren); one brother-in-law, Ricky Allen (Elizabeth Allen) all of Bakersfield, CA; three special friends, Roy Granville, Portland, OR, Joann Stanley and Brenda McKinney and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. A viewing and visitation begins Friday, November 4, 2005, 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Beloved Care Funeral Services, 115 18th Street with an hour of meditation/wake from 6:00 7:00 p.m. For all additional service information, please call (661) 631-2825.
