Ricardo Tapia Sr. 
January 17, 1966 - July 29, 2005 

Visitation for Rick Tapia will be held Thursday, August 4, 2005, at Lighthouse 
Christian Ministries, 711 E. Brundage Ln., from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary 
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 5, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., at San 
Clemente Mission, 1305 Water Street. Ricardo (Rick) was born to Elva P. Tapia 
and Antonio R. Tapia on January 17, 1966 and passed on July 29, 2005, with 
family and friends by his side. Rick attended Noble Elementary, Washington Jr. 
High, East Bakersfield High School. He played baseball for numerous years. He 
is preceded in death by his mother, Elva P. Tapia and niece, Elizabeth Vargas 
and is survived by Ricardo (Ricky) Tapia Jr., Elva Imelda Tapia-Salas, Monique 
Diane Tapia; brother, Ignacio Tapia; sisters, Mary Arredondo, Berta Vargas. 
Our beloved father and brother will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved 
him. May he rest in peace. For additional service information, please call
