Guadalupe Scaramella Auntie Lue 

Guadalupe was born November 2, 1902 and died on September 21, 2005, at the age 
of 102. Lupe was one of twelve children born to Guadalupe and Ramona 
Valenzuela. Lupe is survived by her granddaughter, Rachel; great 
grandchildren, Kathryn R. Baker, Joseph N. Baker, Ashley C. Baker, Zackary L. 
Baker.; younger sister Evelyn Albitre and numerous cousins and nieces. She 
loved attending family functions, exercising with Jack la Lane or just 
relaxing and watching Lawrence Welk. Lupe was the oldest living member of the 
Chumash Council of Bakersfield. She instructed all the girls to be ladies and 
boys to be gentlemen and was a true inspiration to us all. Aunt Lue we all 
miss and love you tremendously and sorrow is only lightened by our imagining 
your reunion with your husband Joseph, son Larry, family and most importantly, 
Jesus. See you soon. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 4pm on Sunday 
September 25, 2005 at St. Francis Catholic Church, and a Viewing will follow 
from 5pm-8pm at Hopson-Anspach Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 
held at St. Francis Church Monday September 26, 2005 at 10 am. Father 
Augustine will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
