(My Daddy) 
Feb. 23, 1933 - Feb. 13, 2006 

Visitation for Jose Vargas will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles 
St.) on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with graveside 
services held at Union Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Jose was born February 23, 1933 
in Michoacan, Mexico and he went home to be with the Lord on February 13, 2006 
in Bakersfield, California. My Daddy went home but not without a fight. My 
Daddy was very proud of all his children and grandchildren. My Daddy is now 
with our Baby Matthew and they are both watching over us. My Daddy has 2 sons, 
Juan Vargas and Joseluis Vargas; 5 daughters, Catalina Vargas, Ana Maria 
Vargas, Linda Vargas, Yolanda Ponce and her husband Alberto and Leticia 
Vargas; 26 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jose Concepcion and 
his wife, Eva and their children, Lupe, Marlbell, Jose, Sandra and Dolores; 
sister, Aurora; special granddaughter, Alejandra Ponce who was his sunshine 
and Grandpa was and always will be hers. A special thank you to Mercy and 
Jean, Hospice Care, the doctor's and nurses at San Joaquin Hospital and thank 
you to everyone for your prayers and help. Jose was loved by all that knew him 
and he will be deeply missed. For additional service or floral delivery
