Carol Susan Vasquez

Visitation for Carol Susan Vasquez will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with the 
Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Our 
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday morning, February 2, 2005 at 
10:30 a.m. with the interment to follow at Union Cemetery. Carol was born on 
November 1, 1953 in Torrance, California and she went to be with our Lord on 
January 20, 2006. Carol had lived in Bakersfield for the past 19 years. She 
was a homemaker and she enjoyed yard sales and looking in thrift stores. She 
enjoyed listening to Spanish music and sometimes rap and hip hop. She is 
preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Nicholas Amador; her husband, 
William P. Vasquez; brother, Steven R. Amador; daughter, Lisa M. Vasquez and 
her niece, Mary Grace Gonzales. She is survived by her only son, William 
Vasquez; daughter, Mary Vasquez; four granddaughters which she raised, Monica 
(Kitkat), Lisa (Little), Angelina (Paw), Veronica (Gorda); grandson, Angel 
Vasquez; sister, Gloria Gonzales; brother, Nicholas Amador; sister, Mary 
Vasquez; sister, Cynthia Nuno; numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. They 
will all miss their Auntie Lovey. Her son, William and her sister, Gloria 
would like to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Benji, Lisa, 
Vicky who were Carol's nurses on the 2nd floor I.C.U. at K.M.C. for keeping 
her comfortable. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be deeply
