Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 
2739 Panama Lane & Hwy. 99, on Thursday, December 22, at 7:00 p.m. and Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 23, at 9:00 a.m. at St. 
Philip the Apostle, 7100 Stockdale Hwy., for Willie R. Vigil, 85, who passed 
away December 19, 2005. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial 
Park. Msgr. Ronald J. Swett will officiate. Mr. Vigil was born on March 1, 
1920, in Milagro, New Mexico and resided in Kern County for 21 years. He 
worked as a heat treating technician in the aerospace business for 50 years. 
Mr. Vigil is survived by his wife, Anita Vigil; sons and daughters-in-law, 
David and Shirley Vigil and Paul and Marian Vigil; grandsons, Paul Vigil Jr., 
and Brian Vigil and brother, Pete Vigil. He was preceded in death by his 
sister, Amelia Vigil on December 18, 2005. Visitation begins Thursday, 12:00-
9:00 p.m. Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary Funeral Directors
