Carmen Garcia
5/7/1931 - 5/6/2005

Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 
St. Josephs Catholic Church, at 10:00 a.m., for Carmen Garcia, 73, who passed 
away at her home on May 6, 2005. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. 

Carmen was born on May 7, 1931, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Melchor and 
Encarnacion Vazquez. Carmen came to Bakersfield, California in 1955. She 
married Reuben Garcia on November 30, 1957.

Carmen is preceded in death by her parents; son, Hector Garcia and brother, 
Samuel Delreal. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Reuben 
Garcia; sons, Bernard Garcia and wife, Virginia, Philip Garcia and wife, 
Angela; daughters, Grace Williams and husband, Mark, Leticia Ruiz and husband, 
Frank; brother, Rodrigo Vazquez and wife, Maria; sisters, Margarita Sanchez, 
Abigail Cortez and husband, Alfonso; twelve grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren; and niece, Rosanna Delreal.
