Elizabeth Phyllis Walker 
Born April 22, 1938 
United with Jesus Christ Dec. 12, 2005 

A Mass and memorial service will be held at St. Josephs Church, Friday, 
December 16, 2005, 10:00 a.m., 1515 Baker Street. Liz, 67, was a proud Native 
American Yaqui Indian. Born in Torrence, CA. She lived and worked in 
California all her life and passed on with her family by her side. Survivors 
include her loving husband of 20 years James Edward Walker; her children and 
spouse, Jorge and Angela Estrada, Cynthia Martinez, Ralph R. Chavez, Martin A. 
Chavez, Pamela Chavez, Gina Chavez, Jacqueline Chavez, Christopher Walker and 
James Walker; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives. 
She is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Heredia; sister, Becky Castro; 
son, Dominick (Nick) Chavez; grandsons, Dominick (Baby Nick) Chavez, Julian 
Coronado.
