Edythe Leolia Walker-Davisson

Jan. 24, 1908 – Dec. 26, 2005

Edythe Leolia Walker-Davisson, 98, passed away on Dec. 26, 2005. Born in Palo 
Alto to Robert and Caroline Walker on Jan. 24, 1908, she grew up in the Los 
Angeles and Long Beach areas, marrying Byron Dale Davisson in 1931.

Edythe was predeceased by her husband, Byron, in 1996 and by her daughter, 
Jeanine in 1998. She is survived by her sons, Darrell and Robert Davisson; 
daughter, Carolyn Worden; six grandchildren, Julie, Matthew, Burton, Melissa, 
Melanie and Tiffany; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa and Emily.

Edythe was a homemaker all of her life and treasured her family, her home, her 
life-long friends and her church. She was a partner with Byron in their store, 
City Home and Garden Supply, in Montrose. She will be deeply missed by all as 
will her memorable stories of many family generations.

Memorial services at Cornerstone Christian Church in San Clemente will be 
announced at a later date. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the cremation 
arrangements.
