Joseph Samuel Wallace 
Services: Sat., Jan 14, 2:00 p.m. 

Joseph Samuel Wallace, known as J.S. or Sam, passed away after a long illness 
on November 21, 2005 at 86 years old. Sam, originally from Ava, Missouri lived 
in Bakersfield California for over 40 years. He was a respected teacher and 
principal at Bakersfield High School and then Assistant Superintendent of the 
Kern High School District. He was a great host and friend, and most of all, a 
loving husband, father and grandpa. Sam is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his 
brother, Robert; his sons, Jeff and Jason; his daughter, Laurie Jo; his 
daughter-in-law, Janet; 3 grandchildren, Sally, Samantha and Andrew. A service 
in Bakersfield will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 2:00 pm, at the 
United Methodist Church, 4600 Stockdale Hwy. Contributions in lieu of flowers 
can be made to: the J.S. and Randall Wallace Scholarship Fund, c/o Bakersfield 
High School, 2141 G Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301, Attention: Becky Saenger.
