Barrancas, FL and she passed away December 29, 2005, in Bakersfield, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Eleanore Wegner; two brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Betty Wegner; sister, Dorothy Dunlap; sister, Elsie Adams; sister and brother-in- law, Eda and Ken Bushnell as well as many nieces and nephews. Marge was born into a military family and lived in many places, including the Philippines and 8 years in Panama from ages 9-17. She was fascinated by the jungle and tropical life. She proudly served as a Marine in World War II. Then, to SJ State College for her teaching degree. She taught for 30 years with many years at Beardsley Elementary in Bakersfield. She was an innovative and gifted teacher and was requested by many parents for their children. After retirement she was a caregiver for her aging parents. Marge had great curiosity and loved life and learning. She was a person of many talents and abilities. She loved to travel, to fish, to fly, she was a ham radio buff as K6YOA and she was a gourmet cook. We love you Marge and will keep you in our hearts.
