Isabelle Weissbach-Goad

July 8, 1925 – Nov. 7, 2005

Isabelle Marie Goad was born July 8, 1925 in Kansas City, Miss. and passed 
away Nov. 7, 2005 in Bakersfield with her family by her side.

Isabelle is survived by her life companion, Erwin Rehker; daughters, Laura Lee 
and husband James Kirkley; Kathleen and her husband John Culpepper; eight 
grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Hickman as well as 
numerous other family members and friends.

Isabelle had an active life in the PTA, Girl Scouts, sixth-grade camp and the 
American Legion. She found great joy visiting convalescent homes and giving 
manicures to the residents. Isabelle will be missed by her family and 
neighbors. Her great-grandchildren will miss their G.G. The family would like 
to extend a special thank you to the medical staff at Bakersfield Family 
Medical Center. Private services are planned at this time.
