Joseph Wayne West 
March 15, 1937 - October 5, 2005 

Joseph (Joe) West, 68, was born March 15, 1937 in Bakersfield to John and 
Sarah West. Joe passed away October 5, 2005 at home due to a long term 
illness. His loving family surrounded him. Joe leaves behind to cherish his 
memory, Marilyn his faithful wife of 21 years, who diligently cared for him 
until the time of his passing. He also leaves behind brothers Vernon, Ed, 
James and Frankie , sisters Melba, and Treva. Sons Joe and wife Denise, 
Dennis, Eric and wife Julie, David, Dwayne and wife Tammie, Brian and wife 
Andrea, daughters Tami and husband Frank, Brandi and husband Bill, 21 
grandchildren and his great grandson who was his partner and buddy Eian Austin 
Cobb.
