Youle Dee Wilbanks

Youle Dee Wilbanks went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2005, at Gardiner, 
Oregon. Dee was born in Bakersfield, CA, December 12, 1938 to Viola and Cecil 
Wilbanks. He attended schools in Bakersfield and married Sharon Denison on 
July 4, 1958. They were married for 47 years. Dee was employed for many years 
at Calzona Box & Lumber Company in Lamont. He was known by his many friends as 
a great fisherman. Dee lived in Bakersfield until 1994, then moved to 
Gardiner, Oregon. He attended Grace Fellowship Church in Reedsport, Oregon. He 
is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Gary and Danny; daughter-in-law, 
Cheryl; and grandson, Steve Lanning, all of Gardiner, OR; and mother-in-law, 
Margaret Hastings who lived with Dee and Sharon and helped so much with his 
care during his illness. He is also survived by his brothers, Roy and Jimmy 
Wilbanks and sisters, Patricia Goodwin and Betty Riggs all of Bakersfield. He 
was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Journey. Viewing 
will be at Dunes Memorial Chapel, 2300 Frontage Rd., Reedsport, OR 97467, 
Friday, November 18, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Celebration of Life 
service will be held at Grace Fellowship in Reedsport, Oregon, Saturday, 
November 19, 2005, at 1:00 p.m.
