Dec. 29, 3:00 p.m. Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Faye Williams, 103 years old and the last survivor of 9 children, who died on Christmas morning at her home. She was born on April 8, 1902, on a farm in Braymer, Missouri. Faye graduated from high school in Braymer and then taught school for three years. Then she went on to the University of Missouri and eventually moved to Taft, Ca., to be near a sister. She met and married Waldo Williams there. They were married for 56 years and he passed away in 1985. Faye taught elementary school for 30 years while also teaching Sunday school, leading a Girl Scout troop and Cub Scouts and being involved in many community activities. Her generosity and kindness were her outstanding traits, always there to help people who needed her. A hard worker she sewed most of her families clothes and household things. Her hands were forever busy, grading papers, crocheting, knitting, sewing or fixing things. She could be found in church each Sunday morning and passed on these great family values on to her children and grandchildren. She had two children Estelle Baldwin of San Diego and Richard Williams (deceased). She had six grandchildren and spouses, Denise and Drake Stenger, Dawn and David Gallagher, Brad and Sherry Williams, Steve and Patti Baldwin, Sue and Keith Youngflesh and Mark and Diana Baldwin and 13 great grandchildren.
