Richard Lee Williams (Dick) 
July 31, 1932 - October 29, 2005 

Richard (Dick) Williams, 73, of Delano, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital, in 
Bakersfield. Richard was born and raised in Republic, Ohio, He resided in that 
area until 1963. He and his family then moved to Delano, CA. He was a Dairy 
Milker for local dairies. He also was the owner of Delano Taxi Service in the 
late 1960s. He enjoyed doing yard service for many local residents and 
businesses. He also loved tinkering on cars and enjoyed the outdoors, 
especially camping and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lyla 
of Delano; his children, Sherryl Murray, Donald Williams, both of Ceres, CA, 
Ruth Espinola of Merced, CA; 3 stepchildren, Carol Meyer of Bkaersfield, Kenny 
Junkert Sr. and Debbie Junkert, both of Delano; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-
grandchildren; 2 brothers, Howard Williams Jr. and Robert Williams of Ohio. He 
is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 3 sons. He was a 
beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. 
He was a kind, generous, humble man who will be greatly missed by all whose 
lives he touched. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 4, 2005, 
2:00 p.m., in the Parkview Mortuary Chapel.
