Edna J. Stevens 
Nov. 8, 1908 - Oct. 14, 2005 

A memorial celebrating the life of Edna Stevens will be held at the Central 
Church of Christ, 425 South H Street, Saturday, October 22, at 3:00 p.m. Edna 
was born November 8, 1908 in Richfield, Ohio to Thomas and Laura Wilson. She 
graduated from Richfield High School and was Valedictorian of her class. She 
used her many impressive talents as a Bible class teacher at the Central 
Church of Christ, Bakersfield, where she was a founding member. Edna was a 
member of the Church Leaders Council of Pepperdine University and a member of 
the Associated Women for Pepperdine. She was an avid supporter of the Herald 
of Truth, Sunrise Christian School and many other Christian activities. Edna 
was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dallas; her son, Keith; and her 
granddaughter, Dallas Kay. She is survived by 3 granddaughters, Suzanne 
Ricker, San Pedro, Gail Real, Woodlands, and Mary Brown, Winnetka; and 6 
grandchildren & one great-grandchildren. Ednas life was rooted in the family 
of God. She was a great influence on many people all of her life. It is her 
wish to be remembered by a contribution to the Herald of Truth Ministries, 
3444 North 1st Street, Abilene, Texas 79603 in lieu of flowers. Refreshments 
will be served following the memorial service. Those present will have an 
opportunity to recount any special memories of this dearly beloved lady.
