We have no idea or no way of knowing Of when well die or where were going. I sit here thinking of the people I've lost Knowing of the pain and misery its cost You could lose a family member or best friend You would have no idea that it was the end. If we had an idea of when our time would come You would make the most of it and have some fun You would cherish those days as much as you could Forgetting all the bad and making them good You lived your days as though each was the last Proving to all to look forward and not in the past You lived a long life but its never long enough This is why I believe death to be so tough You have lived with the kids and I over the years There are many broken hearts and shedded tears We all know you are with God and family thats gone This will help dry our tears from morning to dawn It feels empty without you here the kids will look around and feel you near. I miss you and will never forget your touch. It was an honor and a privilege having you live with us. You will have a special place in my heart but I will see you soon. Until that time may God be with you.
