March 19, 1957 - March 22, 2005

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., 
Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. for Karen Ann Upton, 48, who passed away 
March 22, 2005, in Bakersfield, California. Elder Ted Ensslin and Elder Steven 
Ensslin of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints will officiate. 

Karen Upton was born March 19, 1957, in Bakersfield, California, and resided 
in Kern County for 48 years. She is survived by her husband, Gary W. Upton; 
daughters, Crystal Sawyer of Michigan, Ashley Upton of Porterville, CA; son, 
Casey Upton of Bakersfield, CA; father, Wayne Walker of Bakersfield, CA; 
sister, Linda Amble of Oregon; brothers, Kenneth Walker of Las Vegas, NV, 
Michael Walker of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Alexis, Michael, and Brandon.

Visitation will begin Monday, March 28, 2005, at 3 p.m.
