Walt, 68, of Park City, MT, formerly of Lakewood, CO, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005. Doyle was born in Walnut Bend, Texas on August 23, 1936 to Jess and Fay Walt. He was raised and educated in Bakersfield, California. He joined the Navy in 1954 and received an honorable discharge in 1958, then joined the naval reserves and received an honorable discharge after 20 years of service. Doyle married Nita Bickmore in 1960 and moved to Antioch, California, where he worked for Chevron Oil for 20 years. He had two children, a daughter, Kimberly and a son, Douglas Scott. In 1976, Doyle married the love of his life, Edna and gained three loving and devoted daughters. Together they united two amazing families into one. This union brought him everlasting joy and happiness. In 1978, Doyle and his family moved to Lakewood, CO, and worked for CoorsTek until his retirement in 2004. Soon after moving to Park City, MT, with his wife to retire in the Big Sky Country so he could fish and hunt with his son-in-law, Craig and his grandkids. Doyle was preceded in death by his father, Jesse James Walt, whom he loved and missed dearly. He is survived by his wife, Edna of 30 years; his mother, Fay; and sister, Sherry Blankenship of Bakersfield, CA; his son, Douglas Scott and daughter, Kimberly and her husband, Richard Granger of Chico, CA; his daughters, Tami Michael and Michelle Harvey and her fiancé, Casey Cardenas of Aurora, CO, and Stefanie and her husband Craig Wiggins of Park City, MT. He had 10 grandchildren: Carlo, Robert, Anthony, Jacob, Ellas, Ivan, Shae, Jesse, Jaime and Xavier. And last but not least his baby dog, TANNER! Doyle had an enormous heart that he willingly shared with his family and friends. His love and tenderness will be missed by us all. GO FISHING PAPA WE LOVE YOU!! Until the Angels close my eyes, I cant imagine seeing life without you. Doyle, I will love you forever Edna You were a great Dad and Grandfather to us all. You will forever be loved. You will always be in my heart and with me always. I'll miss you, Kim I didnt see what a great Dad I had in my life. Im sorry Dad. I love and will miss you.
