Coniver Roy Ward 
Services: Fri., June 24, 10:00 a.m. 

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for 
Coniver Roy Ward, 86, who passed away June 21, 2005. Rev. Craig Amos of the 
Arvin Assembly of God Church will officiate. Mr. Ward was born on April 1, 
1919, in Arkansas and resided in Kern County for 68 years. He worked in 
construction for 40 years. Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his first wife of 
50 years, Norma Ward. He is survived by his loving wife, Dollie Ward; son, 
Tony Ward and wife, Carolyn; two stepsons, Bob Waldon of Oregon and Jeff 
Waldon and wife, Robin of Santa Maria; two stepdaughters, Janice Engstrom and 
husband, Mark of Bakersfield and Ruby McNinch and husband, Frank of 
Bakersfield; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, 
nieces and friends and sisters, Gussie Stone of Oildale, Ozela Nicodemes and 
Lucille Jones and husband, Gordon Jones of Lamont and sister-in-law, Marie 
Ward of Oildale. Visitation begins today, 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
