He will be taken back to Alabama on April 25, 2005. Bama is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; best friend, Royce Kiger, father, Rayford and mother, Merlene Nelson Watkins; mother and father-in-law, Sandy and Harlen Eakle; children, Lynn, Jimmy Ray, Jr., Jennifer, Sandra, Mike and Josh; grandchildren, Dillion; Yancy, Rudy, Alex, Kassandra and Gavin; sisters, Malinda Ann, Rita Gail, Kathy Sue, Eva Jean and numerous other family members in Alabama. Bama served in the U.S. Army and he was awarded the Purple Heart while serving as a Tunnel Rat in Vietnam. Bama was hard working. He last worked as a bartender for his friend and confidant Bud at the Mint. His true joy was spending time at home on his patio with his wife, family and friends.
