Bessie Victoria Mallard 
March 23, 1901 - June 14, 2005 

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 17, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at 
Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd., for Bessie Victoria Mallard, who passed 
away at the age of 104 years. Father Robert Wenzinger will officiate. Bessie 
was born March 23, 1901, in San Luis Obispo, CA, to Thomas and Adelaine 
Weimer. Her family settled in the Kern County area in the early 1920s where 
she became a homemaker. Bessie loved to work in the yard and watch TV. She was 
a very kind and giving woman, and always made time to babysit her numerous 
generations of grandchildren. Her family will always remember her as a 
hardworking, loving woman. Bessie was the matriarch of six generations and 
leaves a beautiful legacy of family and friends behind. She is survived by her 
five sons, Harold and wife, Esther, Irvin, William, Richard and Elmer.
