Barbara Jo Hays 
May 11, 1929 - June 23, 2005 

A Memorial Mass for Barbara Jo Hays will be held at St. Francis of Assisi 
Catholic Church on Saturday morning July 2, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. The Lord took 
her hand from mine at 11:30 p.m. on June 23, 2005. I know He said Come with Me 
because of the peaceful look on her face. She was born May 11, 1929 in Kansas 
City, Missouri to Mr. and Mrs. Karl Weir. She was preceded in death by her 
parents, and one brother. She married Glenn Hays on February 21, 1949 in Falls 
City, Nebraska; and of this union two daughters were born. Survivors are her 
husband of 56 years, Glenn R. Hays; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Richard 
Wood and their two children; daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Mike Gallagher 
and their two children; brother and sister-in-law Ed and Pat Weir and their 
family; and many nieces and nephews. A great battle with Alzheimers that left 
her dependant on the most beautiful staff in the world, nurses and aids at 
Emmanuel Parkview Real and to Dr. Oliver Droppers of Kaiser Permanente who was 
always there when needed. To Mary, Rachel and June for staying with us many 
times when their shift was over and our prayers and thanks to you for the two 
and one-half years that you gave your all. The Hays, Gallagher and Wood
