Patrick Jay Welch 
Aug. 2, 1960 - Aug. 25, 2005 

Graveside services will be on Friday, September 2nd, at 10:00 a.m., at the 
Union Cemetery for Patrick Welch, 45. Patrick succumbed August 25th to his 
battle with cancer. He was born in Lodi, CA but lived in Bakersfield for most 
of his life. He was a devoted employee for Johasee Rebar. Patrick was a loving 
and giving son, husband and father and a wonderful caring friend to many. He 
is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jennifer; two daughters, Elizabeth and 
Stephanie Welch; mother, Georgia Dollar of OK; father and stepmother, Bill and 
Barbara Welch; siblings, Bill Welch Jr., Connie Freeman, Perry Welch, Charles 
Welch, Liberty Cheever, Clara Justice and many nieces and nephews. To my 
loving husband you may be gone from this earth, but I know you are still with 
me. Until we find each other again in Heaven, you will always be on my mind, 
in my thoughts and forever in my heart. Our love will live on until we are 
reunited for eternity. I will see your loving face for the rest of my life. 
Visitation will be Thursday, September 1st, from 4-8 p.m., at Mish Funeral 
Home.
