Mother Lee Ester Roberson
December 7, 1921 - May 10, 2005

An hour of meditation will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for my beloved 
mother, Lee Ester Roberson, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on 
May 10, 2005. 

At the request of Mother Roberson, graveside services will be held Friday, at 
11:00 a.m., in Union Cemetery. Pastor Dr. E.V. McGee of Saints Memorial COGIC 
will officiate.

She was one of fourteen children born in Grandview, Texas, to Newton and Rosie 
Bell Whitfield and attended school in Cleburne, Texas. In 1945 Mother Roberson 
married the late Robert Roberson. To this union a daughter was born. She gave 
her life to Christ at an early age and remained in the service of the Lord 
until she was called from her labor to reward. She was a faithful member of 
Saints Memorial COGIC. 

She is deeply loved and will be missed by her daughter, Joan Thompson; 
sisters, Georgia Mae Foster of Bakersfield, Ella Washington and Dimple (Baby) 
Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas and Berniece Thompson of Cleburne, Texas; 
grandson, Tommy Thompson Jr. and wife, Yolanda; great-grandchildren, Trevon 
Tynea and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
