Chester Ave.) on Friday morning, May 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Gayland Allen will officiate. Interment will follow at Shafter Cemetery. Rick was born January 18, 1951 in Crowder, Mississippi and he passed away May 2, 2005 in Bakersfield, California. Rick is preceded in death by his father, Thurman Wiggs; his sister, Jackie Sue Wiggs and his brother, John Wiggs. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Joseph Bowen; son and his girlfriend, Thomas Wiggs and Sarah Snyder; daughter, Kacy Wiggs and her fiancé, Brian Gardner; mother and step-father, Hazel and William Grady; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Larry Sweet; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Greg Edwards; sister and brother-in-law, Mattie Pearl and Bobby Walker; brother and sister-in-law, William and Robbie Grady; brother, Randy Lee Grady; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Wayne and Brenda Grady; brother, Michael Leon Grady; grandchildren, Jacob, Derick and Ashlynn Bowen, Emily Gardner and one grandchild on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rick was gentle and kind, and he loved his family very much. He lived his life as a humble and quiet man, who enjoyed working on cars, awatching NASCAR and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, fishing and visiting Yosemite National Park. Peacefully knowing he was going to dwell in the Kingdom of God forever, Rick passed from this life into eternity to go sit at the feet of his Lord and Savior Jesus.
