Shirley Janice Erquhart 
March 22, 1931 - May 25, 2005 

Services: Sat., May 28, 10 a.m. 

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved by many friends. Mom graduated from 
East Bakersfield High School in the class of 1948. Mom married Vernon on April 
1, 1949. Dad preceded Mom in death on March 27, 1997. Mom is survived by 
children Suzie and husband, Bill Jasper, sons, Steve, David and wife, Beth; 
grandchildren, Angee Wilke, Clint Jasper, Brian, Derek, Scott, Kyle, Zak and 
Michaela Erquhart; great-grandchildren, Alexzander, Jonah, Costner, Rian, and 
Zabian. She is survived by siblings Martha Mathis, David Willis, and Darlene 
Tucker. Mom would have wanted us to mention her life-long friend Joyce Lundy, 
and we cant forget her bunko group of 37 years. Memorial service will be held 
Saturday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Chester Avenue Community Church, 1509 S. 
Chester. A gathering to celebrate Moms life will be held in the social hall 
immediately following the service. We would like to thank Dr. Purewal and 
staff in the Cardiac Unit at Memorial Hospital with special thanks to Cheriann 
for her compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The 
American Heart Association or charity of your choice. Mom is in Heaven now 
with Dad, where they belong.
