John Jeffrey Wilson
Services: Thurs., Sept. 8, 3:30 p.m. 

John was born to Ted and Alice Wilson on April 30, 1954, in Bakersfield, 
raised in Wasco, CA and passed away on September 2, 2005. A memorial service 
will be held Thursday, September 8, 2005, 3:30 p.m., at Doughty-Calhoun-
OMeara, 1100 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA. Interment will be at a later 
date. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debra; daughter, Traci Lynn and 
Joel; daughter, Tara Renae and son, Jeffrey Lewis; grandson, Benjamin Torres; 
mother, Alice Wilson; sister, brothers and in-laws, Nonie and Gary King, Ted 
and Sally Wilson and Rick and Joyce Wilson. A large extended family, including 
special friends, Albert and Billee Etchecopar; and numerous other friends of 
Old River. He is predeceased by his father, Lloyd Theodore Wilson, I. John was 
employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for 32 years. During this time he 
worked hard to provide for his family. At South Kern Machinery, he met the 
love of his life, Debbie Lewis. He spent many years working at Quinn Company 
where he made many friends and memories. For the past four years, he has been 
self-employed performing heavy equipment and maintenance and repairs primarily 
for dairies and farms in the Old River area. In lieu of flowers, please make a 
donation to The American Heart Association or a Hurricane Katrina Disaster 
Fund.
