Dorothy E. Thomas 
Oct. 4, 1927 - Dec. 20, 2005 

Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dec. 28th at 10A.M. 
Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Mortuary, Dec. 27th 4-8 P.M. Dorothy was 
born on Oct. 4, 1927 in Youngtown, Ohio and went to be with the Lord on Dec. 
20, 2005 in Bakersfield, CA. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband 
James (Tommy) Thomas, parents Kenneth and Teresa Zimmet and sister Janice 
Smith. She is survived by her son Jim and wife Janet Thomas, daughters Dorothy 
and husband Don Mills, Brenda Leonberg, Sondra and husband Chuck Rivano, 
Loretta and husband Wesley Polhamus, brother Kenneth Zimmet in Santa Paula, 
CA, sister Eileen Johnson of Grand Junction, CO., sister Verna and husband 
Hugh Turner of Springfield, OR., 11 grand kids, 17 great-grand kids, 4 great-
great-grandkids, and many nieces and nephews. Although Dorothy went to be with 
the Lord, we will always have great memories in our hearts that we will 
cherish forever.
