Farley of this city, died yesterday afternoon about [?] after 1 o'clock at her home at West Ninth street after an illness of some duration. Mrs. Farley, who was aged 74 years, 3 months and 21 days at the time of her death, was born in the city of San Francisco when it was still known as Yerba Buena, on June 21, 1848 and at her marriage moved to Visalia where she resided until 1894 when Mr. Farley opened his office here and his family moved to Hanford. Her recent illness has been short in duration, it is said, and only became alarming yesterday. She is survivied by her husband, James H. Farley, and three children, George H. Farley of this city, Mrs. Ada J. Hornbeak of Porterville, and Ernest R. Farley of San Francisco. A third son died several years ago. She is further survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ella Malott of Santa Cruz and Mrs. Florine Foley of Fresno, and two brothers, Fred J. Hargrave of Oakland, and E. L. Musgrave of Riverdale.
