DIES IN HANFORD. [first part of text missing] . . . of James H. Farley of the Safety Abstract and Title Company, and loving mother of George H. Farley of this city, Mrs. Ada J. Hornbeak of Porterville and Ernest R. Farley of San Francisco, passed away this afternoon at the family residence, 409 West Ninth Street, aged 74 years, 8 months and 21 days. She was the first white child born in San Francisco, where her father was a pioneer, and was born June 21, 1848, in the small settlement then known as Yerba Buena. Decedent is also survived by two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Ella Malott of Santa Cruz, Mrs. Florine Foley of Fresno, Fred J. Hargrave of Oakland and E.L. Musgrave of Riverdale. The funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary chapel of Russell & Lewis. Burial will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the family plot in Visalia cemetery.
