Stella Gray Vucovich, 92 of Hanford passed away Monday, July 28, 2003 at a 
convalenscent center in Hanford.  

Stella was born June 11, 1911 in Hanford.  She was a lifelong resident of 
Lemoore and Hanford, and attended Lemoore Elementary School and Lemoore High 
School, graduating in 1929.  She was especially fond of her pets and collecting 
antiques.  Friends have often described her as being very "young at heart".  She 
has been a principal contributor of the Sarah A. Mooney Memorial Lemoore Museum.  

Stella is survived by two sons, Charles Russell of Marysville, Washington, and 
John Russell of San Luis Obispo.  She has four grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at the Lemoore Cemetery on Friday, August 1st 
at 10:00 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of People's Funeral Chapel in Hanford.
