Angeles, Calif. Born at Central City, Illinois. August 10th, 1859; son of Harvy
K. S. and Annie Wilhelmina Rose O'Melveny; married to Marie Antoinette
Schulling, May 28th, 1887. Educated at Los Angeles High School; University of
California. Came to California, November 15, 1869, from Central City, Illinois.
Board of Trustees, Public Library, four years; President, Civil Service
Commission; and Park Commissioner for six years. Clubs: California Club, Los
Angeles Country Club, Sunset Club. Residence. 3250 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles,
California.
