Confederate Soldiers:

Derrill L. Wingard was born Dec 1825 in SC and died 28 Mar 1907 in Los Angeles County 
(probably in Long Beach) He is buried in the South West Magnolia Section, Plot 92 Grave 3.

He and his family resided in Georgia in 1860 (he was a merchant) and in Kansas in 1880 and in 1900 the family is residing in Long Beach.  He is mentioned in the Los Angeles Times 9 Apr 1897 as a director of the First Christian Church in Long Beach.
