After the services in the Little Church of the Flowers the body of the actor was borne on an artillery caisson to the grave. Services at the cemetery were conducted by James B. Gresham Post No. 8, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Taps were sounded and a military salute fired over the grave by a detachment from the One Hundred and Sixtieth infantry. Acord, who died two weeks ago in a Chihuahua hotel, served overseas during the world war with Battery A, One Hundred and Forty-fourth Field Artillery, Fortieth Division.
