Mrs. P. E. Arnold, Aged Palms Woman Is Called by Death

Funeral Rites to be Held Tomorrow for Forty-Year Resident of Palms

Mrs. Phoebe E. Arnold, aged 69, who had been a resident of Palms for more than
forty years, passed away at her home, 2799 Sawtelle boulevard, Wednesday night
following a long illness. Mrs. Arnold was born in El Monte, Calif., and came to
Palms to reside fifteen years after her marriage. The couple were to celebrate
their golden anniversary in June.

One daughter, Mrs. Bessie J. Bryan, of Hollywood and three sons Nelson L.
Arnold, of Mexico, Percy W. Arnold of San Joaquin valley and Lawrence F. Arnold
of Brentwood, survive the deceased. Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at the Price and Daniels parlors with Rev. H. H. Heberly, of the
United Brethren church officiating.
